In April 2007 Bill and I returned to Annapurna. For me it had been 5 1/2 years since my last visit.  We stopped going when the Maoist insurgency made trekking a bit too dangerous.  The country is a peace now, but the years of low tourist numbers has caused some places to disappear, but in major villages there are some newly built guest houses.
