A good start well before sunrise |

Sunrise coming |
 |
 |

Firewood stored on the roof |

Another day where the first half was all downhill. Some
gradual like this and some very steep. |

Note the foot trail going up this hill |

A beautiful valley looking north toward Mustang |
 |

Looking down to Eklobhatti and the
Hill-ton Hotel |
 |

A Annapurna bus |

Interesting rock formation |

The last several hours of the walk into Jomson in or
along side of the riverbed. Almost every day by 1
or 2 pm the winds come up and this can be a dusty
miserable walk. |

Cows wander the streets of many towns in Nepal, even in
Kathmandu |

Room in Xanadu hotel in Jomson. |

Time for a long hot shower in a very clean shower |

Another reason we stay here two days. A real toilet in
the bathroom attached to the room. |

Bill is happy. It's a vodka night and here we even get
ice cubes. |

Cheers! |

Bill and I have known this girl for over 10 years. She
is now 18 and looking for a husband, |

The daughter of the owner of the Xanadu. She has always
been away at school before. Very nice girl with an
interest in the outdoors and adventure schools |

Bill with the "antique" yak bells he bought for his
uncle. |

Not as good as the view from the Thong la Hotel in
Manang, but still great to watch the mountains change as
parts were lit by the sun. |

We had a brownout the first night but the drinks were
just as good by candle light |
